1. About Skrynia

Skrynia is a local-first budgeting app built specifically for families. It helps users track everyday money decisions, organize transactions, and review spending.

2. Acceptance

By using Skrynia, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or beta services.

3. Private Beta

Skrynia may be provided as a private beta before public release. Beta features may be incomplete, unstable, changed, or removed. You should not rely on beta features as your only financial record.

4. Personal Tracking Only

Skrynia is provided for personal and household budgeting. It is not accounting software, tax software, investment software, credit analysis, or professional financial advice.

5. No Financial Advice

Skrynia does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or credit advice. Any totals, budgets, funds, suggestions, or imported data are informational only. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

6. Your Responsibility For Data

You are responsible for reviewing transactions, amounts, categories, funds, dates, notes, and imported data before relying on them. Bank imports, merchant names, categorization, and balances may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or incorrect.

7. Bank Connections

If bank connection features are available, authorization happens through the bank or open banking provider flow. Skrynia does not ask you to type bank passwords into Skrynia.

You may disconnect or stop using bank connection features. Provider availability, transaction history, and sync behavior may vary by bank and region.

8. Local Data And Backups

The current MVP is local-first. If you delete the app, reset data, or lose your device, locally stored data may be lost unless an export or backup feature is available and used.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Skrynia, including by:

  • Attempting to disrupt, attack, or reverse engineer services.
  • Using Skrynia for unlawful purposes.
  • Submitting false, abusive, or harmful beta/support requests.
  • Trying to access data or systems you are not authorized to access.

10. Availability

Skrynia may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that the app, beta, landing page, backend, or bank integrations will always be available or error-free.

11. Third-Party Services

Skrynia may rely on third-party services such as app stores, hosting providers, email routing, cloud infrastructure, and open banking providers. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply.

12. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skrynia is provided "as is" and without warranties. We are not liable for financial loss, decisions made based on app data, data entry mistakes, import errors, downtime, or loss of local data, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms as Skrynia evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Poland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise. If Skrynia is later operated by a registered legal entity, this section may be updated to reflect that entity's legal requirements.
